Knitting Alert: Knitted Wool Helmet Liners Needed for Our Troops Overseas

Even if you are a beginning knitter, this project is "do-able": Knitted wool helmet liners for our troops who are serving overseas in winter climates. You can begin reading about it here. Let's show our troops how much we care! And if you don't know how to knit, please consider learning how. Many craft stores give lessons. If you learn better from printed instructions and diagrams, consider visiting Lion Brand Yarns website, or About.com's Knitting website (I'll hunt up the links for you in a jiff!). At the very least, please offer even a two second prayer (a "golden arrow", as St. Francis de Sales put it) for our troops.

Edit: The 'net is clogged tonight; I can't access ANY of the links to the Lion Brand Yarn website. I'll try again later on Sunday, Lord willing! Next, I'll try to find the About.com Knitting site.
